Wait on the Lord
To wait on the Lord means more than to sit and hope He drops by. Brother George gave a quote in Sunday school that said “If you do not know what to do, just keep doing what
you know to do ” Being faithful to your daily tasks is a service to God when done in His strength. Reach out and seek to help another .
David expressed it this way: Psalm 16:2,3 ” … my goodness extendeth not to thee ( to the Lord); But to the saints that are in the earth , and to the excellent , in whom is all my delight.”
Patience , I am so impatient to learn it!
Please note the verse I could not find in my evening message is Isaiah 28:16 :
“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.”
