Stand up for Jesus
In Matthew 16, when Jesus heard Peter answer with a confession of Jesus’ deity, Jesus called him “cephas” or “Little Rock”. When we get our lives anchored to the Rock,
it makes us a little boulder ( “bolder”) . – adapted from Brother David G text.
Wednesday message
” I have drunk my wine with my milk” Song of Solomon 5:1 b
To drink what is pleasant and sweet in life and not be aware of what truly nourishes our bodies seems to be epidemic in society. What happened to an old fashioned
dinner together with the family? Usually it is healthy to the body and the soul as well as to the well being of family unity. Satan hates Gods designs in creation. He will
try to destroy all that is good , healthy and pleasant. ( Excuse me, Uh, yes, make that a large double double er, uh maybe just a medium mint tea. )
Quick note to CBC radio
I love tuning in to CBC. Tuesday, 1:57 PM, I turned on CBC and the first words were O God, Jesus… in blasphemy. I am a Baptist pastor and would
like to express my disappointment as to where the restraints are going. In philosophy, blasphemy is a form of anarchy.
While CBC is a reflection of Canadian society, it also is a leader of such and should exercise responsibility toward mutual respect. Why not the same rules for Jesus as with Allah? Rev. W. Jones
