God’s loving care
We read in Psalm 1:6 that..” the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous…” No doubt He knows it because He has planned it . Of course we must respond to His voice and
live by faith to see it , but Romans 8:28 is a promise of turning all evil into good because of His love for us. In an analogy, our lives are like a pathway through an uncharted
and dangerous land. God goes just ahead, leveling the way and warning us of the paths to avoid. ” I sure cannot see tomorrow, but “I know Who holds the future..” and I know Who holds my hand.
Exalting a Leader
In Exodus 8-14 , God exalted Moses by using him in the defeat of Pharaoh’s power and armies. But Moses was just a tool that allowed God to use him. Beware of exalting the man God uses. Respect him, learn from him, love him, support him.Earthly societies need good leaders- but do not exalt him. He is as prone to pride and sin as anyone else. How do we know the difference between respect and exaltation? Come on Sunday and hear!
A Dad’s Responsibility
Come on Sunday to worship and find instructions to Dads. You might be surprised at what our top priority needs to be. Our text comes from Genesis 35:1-15. Jacob is in
big trouble and God meets him and gives him hope . Jacob’s response is refreshing and worth looking at.
